Live Action Anime

Based on a manga by Hiroshi Muto, Kyo kara Hitman stars actor, musician, and “Mecha-Mecha Iketeru!” regular Shinji Takeda as an ordinary salaryman named Tokichi Inaba who inadvertently becomes involved in the death of a legendary hitman. Facing bankruptcy and saddled with a 35-year mortgage, Inaba is coerced into becoming a hitman himself by the mysterious and beautiful troublemaker Chinatsu (Yuri Morishita), all while trying to keep his new wife Misako (Mari Hoshino) in the dark about his double life.

Toei will be releasing “Kyo kara Hitman” on September 26, 2009.
