Live Action Anime

Thanks go to ANN for providing us with this update on 20th Century Fox’s live-action adaptation of Shinichiro Watanabe’s Cowboy Bebop. Website Anime Vice has, it seems, secured an interview with writer Peter Craig who has been allocated to the project.

Craig stems from a background as a novelist of crime fiction, and has been identified as having an affinity for characters such as “disaffected men, dysfunctional families, poker-playing con-women, weathered ex-cops.” He talks about loving Bebop’s rich characters and its genre bending envisionment of the future.
