ANN reported on Saturday that a new one-minute trailer for the Japanese live-action adaptation of Sanpei Shirato’s 1964 manga Kamui Gaiden has been uploaded. You can watch the trailer here.

The film seems to have undergone a healthy bit of CGI polish everr since its first, relatively frugal, teaser trailer appeared in January, and it’s now shaping up to be a muscular intense chambara flick. It’s set to open in Japan on September 19th, so keep your eyes peeled for a Western release.
