Speilberg says Transformers 2 is Bay’s best film yet!

Steven Spielberg sat next to me in a big 100 person theater at Sony today. There were 98 empty seats. The lights came up after we just watched my cut of Revenge of the Fallen. He turned to me and said “It’s awesome”. He felt this movie was better than the first – and probably my best, who knows – at this point in a movie you start to lose your objectivity. I just hope the fans like it. I’m going to start putting it in front of audiences in a few weeks – no you are not invited, yet.
We have 60 days left. Let me tell you it will be a race to finish. It’s 12 at night and we are still working here in the edit room. Everyone at ILM and DD are killing themselves right now, they are doing a stellar job on the effects. We also just finished our trailer which is coming out with Wolverine. Talk to you soon.

I’ve always been a fan of Spielberg and so I have to ask if the first time he sees the movie he says it’s awesome and Bay’s best, then are we in store for a treat?

Now that DBE is over…post a timer for another movie…thats officially filming or at least we are sure that it will be realeased…cause many live actions are on planning stages…

Spielberg is the EXECUTIVE PRODUCER and Bay is a one man hype machine. Of course you’re gonna get a story like this.
Having said that, it wouldn’t take much to be better than the crapfest that was the first film.
Lots of stuff going on in The Last Airbender world, maybe we could give it up for that one! I can’t wait for it!

But its still gonna be awesome. However, is it Bay who’s really responsible, or the scriptwriter? Or even the special effects people? Maybe the actors? Who knows.
I agree of what Speilberg says about Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. It will be the best film Michael has ever made so far.
I also heard that the new trailer for this movie will be in front of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Can this get any better than this. I sure hope so. I’m gonna see this movie on opening weekend.
