Michael Bay Confirms Transformers 3 Release Date.
If you’ve been looking around for Transformers news lately you might have seen that Paramount said that Transformers 3 would be released on July 4th 2011. Well, according to the big bad mamma jamma himself, they were wrong.
I said I was taking off a year from Transformers. Paramount made a mistake in dating Transformers 3 – they asked me on the phone – I said yes to July 4 – but for 2012 – whoops! Not 2011!!! That would mean I would have to start prep in September. No way. My brain needs a break from fighting robots.

Release date was also confirmed by Shia LaBeouf via his Twitter page. He also states the everyone including himself will be back for the third movie. That means rumors of his death in T2 are false.
No end-of-the-world comments? Really? Not even a little fifth-horseman quip?
