DragonBall Evolution Game and Action Figure News
There’s a couple of new updates regarding the merchandise of the live action DragonBall film. First, Namco Bandai and Fox both announced today the planned release for the video game on the PSP this April.
The game, “promises to be the perfect companion for the movie by incorporating all of the characters, bone jarring fights and spectacular special abilities that fans have come to expect… Participating in intense battles, gamers are invited to follow the path of Goku to his predestined fight against the evil Lord Piccolo in Story mode. Players can also battle against a number of opponents in Arcade mode, accept challenges in Mission mode or hone their technique in Training mode. Dragon Ball: Evolution also lets players challenge friends to online feats of strength in Network Battle mode for infinite+ replay value.” The entire review, as well as more pictures, are over on IGN.
Also, Toy Wiz has descriptions up for it’s DragonBall: Evolution action figures, including Goku with extending bow staff, and a 6 Inch grey and black RX Trike that transforms from a capsule with another Goku action figure. No pictures as of yet, but the descriptions reveal more about the inclusion of capsules and the Power Pole in the movie. To discuss these two bits of news head on over to our forums.

All I’ll say is, lol.
What we have here is a game based on a film based on an anime based on a manga. Media extrapolation to the fourth degree. Impressive.
